About Us
The Hawaii World Series (HIWS) is a Hawaii based organization working along side the local Hawaiian coaches. Together we have built the premiere Hawaiian baseball event, an event that represents the communities, high schools and families of Hawaii. The event takes place in December on one of the Islands. Annually the event will change locations. The HIWS features top prospects from Hawaii and the players will represent the island they’re from. There will be 6 teams from 5 islands (Kauai, Big Island, Oahu, Maui and Molokai).
HIWS Mission
- To contribute to the education and player development process of the Hawaiian high school baseball players and families.
- To provide draft ready players an opportunity to build their MLB draft status.
- To provide college ready players an opportunity to earn baseball scholarships.
- To provide an opportunity for players to be considered for the under or upper-class Area Code Tryouts.
- To build upon the rich Hawaiian baseball tradition of College, Professional and Area Code baseball.
