5 Tool Testing: Camp Participants are 5-Tool tested in the following areas (Run, Hit, Field, Throw, and Hit for Power).

5 Tool Evaluation: Camp Participants receive their 5-Tool test results and are given their 5-Tool assessment grades on a scale of “25” and receive a 5-Tool evaluation. The 5-Tool assessment; Velocity Throw, Exit Speed, QAB’s, 60 Dash, Grip test, Shuttle, and a Defensive Skills assessment.

Rapsodo iCloud: Each participant receives a personal Rapsodo iCloud account to store their Rapsodo video and metrics. The iCloud account is for the players to utilize and assess at any time for 1 year. (a $200 value at no cost to the HIWS participants).

Rapsodo Pitcher: Pitchers receive individual Rapsodo video of each pitch thrown in the bullpen. The video includes all Rapsodo metrics (appearing on the video). Pitchers also receive Rapsodo metrics of their pitches thrown in the game. Their Rapsodo metrics videos are stored in the player’s personal iCloud video locker. The players have access to their iCloud at any time for their personal developmental and recruiting purposes.

Rapsodo Position Player: Position Players receive Rapsodo Video & Rapsodo Metrics for each of their Batting Practice swings. Position Players also receive Rapsodo Defensive video of their defensive skills assessment, which includes Rapsodo throwing metrics. Their hitting and defensive videos are stored in the player’s personal iCloud video locker. The players have access to their iCloud at any time for their personal developmental and recruiting purposes.

Validation: Metrics and testing numbers have no value to a college coach and or pro scout unless the numbers have been validated through 1 of the 3 credible sources; 1) an MLB scout, 2) a college coach, and or 3) a credible showcase / evaluation organization. Due to Trosky Baseball’s strong reputation within the college and professional baseball community, the metrics, video, test results, and player evaluation that you receive from camp will serve as a valuable recruiting, marketing, and developmental tool.
